A Majestic River Retreat


BRAND NEW to our Luxury Riverside Vacation Home inventory. This cabin has a beautiful view of the river, on large, flat acreage WITH TONS of outdoor play space and is adjacent to the beautiful River Park in the Resort. Huge upstairs windows overlook the gorgeous river.



Main level has huge living area with fireplace, kitchen and dining, deck across rear with rocking chairs and charcoal girll. Also on main level is the Grand Master Suite with King Bed and adjoining bathroom with jacuzzi jet bathtub and walk-in tile shower, dual closets. Upstairs are 2 more bedrooms with Full size beds and closets plus a loft with a pool table and two convertible twin bed futons. The basement is currently unfinished but there are plans to finish the basement and add bedrooms and bath to it by summer time 2010.

Outside there is a 2 person hot tub and lots of flat play space by the river and in the park next door.

The inclined gravel driveway is recently upgraded and expanded to include parking around the rear of the cabin as well as the front. There is sufficient space to park multiple vehicles. The incline of the driveway is sufficient to allow 2WD vehicles properly navigated to use the driveway, although 4x4 is recommended for inexperienced navigators. Temporary parking in the Fish Trap Park next door is also permitted with a temporary parking pass requested from Resort Security.

The Resort

The Coosawattee River Resort is an 8,500 + acre vacation home resort development consisting of more than 7,000 individual, privately owned lots divided by Twelve miles of the beautiful Coosawattee River. The Coosawattee River Resort is located just a few miles outside of Ellijay and East Ellijay, Georgia in the beautiful North Georgia mountains only 73 miles north of Atlanta, GA. Here you can experience all of the beauty of all four seasons, each with its own personality and weather.

Coosawattee Resort is loaded with amenities such as 4 swimming pools, mulitple tennis and basketball courts, 5 river parks with playgrounds, picnic tables and camp sites, a Conference Center, a fishing pond and a large Recreation Center with indoor heated pool, arcade, fitness center, tennis courts, volleyball, basketball and miniature golf course. Coosawattee guests also can visit the General Store at Eagle Mountain just outside the Eagle Mountain entrance on Hwy 382. The General Store provides river tubing and kayaking activities, horseback riding plus a deli, grocery items and convenience items.

Rental Rates are based on 4 guests. A $15 additional cleaning charge per person for more than 4 guests (ages 5 and older) is required. Please use the reservation options in the 'Book it Now' screen to add the number of additional guests. This resort requires a gate fee and all guest names and vehicles to be submitted to the Resort Security office prior to allowing access.

Security Registration: This property requires all guest names and vehicles to be registered for resort and/or cabin access.
Damage Insurance: Damage Insurance is required prior to sending final access package. Damage insurance covers all accidental damages up to $3,000. Guest must fill out an ‘OOPS’ form for any damages to qualify for coverage.
Check-In time: 4:00pm. For earlier access (up to 10am), a guaranteed Early Check-In can be purchased. Use the Orange 'Instant Quote' or 'Book it now' button to see if this option is available to add to your reservation.
Check-Out time: 11:00am. For later departure (up to 4pm), a guaranteed Late Check-Out can be purchased. Use the Orange 'Instant Quote' or 'Book it now' button to see if this option is available to add to your reservation.
Reservation Down-Payment: 50% down payment of total required to hold property if check-in date is more than 30 days from booking date. Full Payment is due within 30 days of check-indate.
Cancellations: Any cancellations prior to 21 days from arrival date will receive full refund minus $100 cancellation fee.
