"Riverbend Retreat" is a beautiful newly remodeled deluxe Georgia vacation home that is loaded with amenities designed for families and friends to enjoy riverside vacationing and relaxing in comfort.



This 3BR, 2.5 bath home is located less than 5 minutes from downtown Ellijay and sits right on the edge of the beautiful Cartecay River. Sleeps total of 8 guests and is loaded with amenities and new furnishings. A brand new, easily accessible firepit patio area gives you full access to the river so you can sit around a warm fire or roast hot dogs while fishing for your next catch in the river. With 350 feet of prime riverfront property, this cabin is as close as you can get to your own personal secluded river escape not to mention a large screned porch, a huge 7-person hot tub and private Master Bedroom balcony all overlooking the beautiful river. Riverbend Retreat is recently remodeled and is fully equipped with everything needed for the perfect riverside escape in the north Georgia mountains.

This cabin features a unique split level floor plan:
On the main level is the open living room and kitchen looking out over the river through a great big glass panel wall. The living room has brand new leather sofa's and upgraded furnishings along with a huge 42" flat panel TV with HDTV digital programming and DVD player (with over 25 DVD movies to choose from), plus a natural gas vent-less fireplace. Outside, the screened porch overlooks the river and contains 5 Adirondack chairs, a few drink tables and ceiling fans. Also on the main level is the fully equipped kitchen and pantry plus access to the large 2-car garage, complete with remote garage door openers for guest use and a new propane gas grill.

On the upstairs split level resides the King Master Suite with a private balcony overlooking the river, a 27" TV and a HUGE walk-in closet. The newly remodeled bathroom sports granite countertops, tile shower and jacuzzi jet bathtub. Across the hallway is a Queen bedroom with a 19" TV and a kids bunk room, joined together buy a his and hers full bath with walk-in tile shower.

Downstairs on the lower level is another living large room with a huge wood burning fireplace and computer station, gameroom with foosball table and mini fridge, the large laundry room with wash sinks and a half bath. The lower level living room has a sleeper sofa and 27" TV with a Sony Playstation (sorry, no games) for extended family and friend fun. The computer desk contains a laptop and monitor with internet access for guests. The sliding glass doors open up to a covered patio with access to the huge 7-person hot tub overlooking the river. In the front yard, steps lead down towards the river and a small landing with chairs for lounging and fishing.

At the top end of the property in front of the private storage shed is a brand new firepit patio right smack on top of the river where marshmellow and hot dog roasting is KING and fishing for river trout and bass just couldn't get any easier or more pleasurable. 8 chairs are provided at the firepit for guests. Firewood is not included but can be purchased at the time of reservatoin.

The driveway is paved and split and can house up to 7 or 8 vehicles with no problem plus 2 more in the 2-car garage.

Riverside Retreat is located a few miles from downtown Ellijay on the way to the famous Apple Orchard Alley along Highway 52 East towards Amicalola Falls. With a perfect location, secluded riverfront access, loads of amenities conveniences and a beautifully furnished and decorated comfortable home, Riverside Manor is the ultimate escape in the north Georgia Mountains.
