"Birds of a Feather” is a beautiful spacious 6 bedroom luxury Georgia mountain cabin that is fully loaded with amenities designed to allow both large and smaller groups to enjoy a mountain getaway while relaxing in luxurious comfort.



This HUGE mountain cabin is part of our Luxury Resort Series homes within the beautiful and massive Coosawattee River Resort where you can enjoy Resort amenities and natural mountain beauty, just minutes from downtown Ellijay, GA and only 75 miles from downtown Atlanta, GA!.

Birds of a Feather is nestled off a quiet side road on a wooded mountain lot not far from the River Park, Fishing Pond and Water Tower Conference Center of the Resort. Birds of a Feather is bursting with amenities and floor space. With 6 generously sized private bedrooms and 3 sleeper sofas, Birds of a Feather can sleep up to 16 guests comfortably. The cabin also provides 3.5 bathrooms, a finished basement with gameroom and pool table, a 5-person therapeutic hot tub overlooking the woodland mountainscape, wireless internet, wood burning fireplace, large 42” plasma TV, brand new fashionable furnishings, fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances!

Birds of a Feather cabin features the popular ‘Mountain Laurel’ floor plan with an open and inviting living room and kitchen, large upstairs loft and bedrooms, finished basement with gameroom and an expansive deck stretching across the whole house overlooking the woodland landscape out back. The 6 private bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms make large groups a breeze to house and the floorplan includes the popular and spacious King Master Suite with an elegant Master Bathroom featuring a Jacuzzi bathtub and deep walk-in tile shower.

The fully equipped kitchen has stainless steel appliances, and full size washer and dryer in the laundry room. The living room stretches the house open with its extra high ceilings, floor to ceiling rock fireplace (woodburn), 42" widescreen satellite TV and comfortable furnishings with a sleeper sofa to boot.

The upstairs level features 2 bedrooms with walk-in closets and a huge loft with 2 convertible sleeper sofas and lounging area. Across the hall is another bedroom with Queen bed. The 2 upstairs bedrooms are carpeted, the bathroom is tile and the loft has wood flooring.

On the main level, the spacious and carpeted Master bedroom features a King bed, walk-in closet and Master bath suite with Jacuzzi bath tub and a large picturesque window overlooking woodlands. The bathroom is tile and has opposing twin vanities and a deep tile walk-in shower. The living room has a Queen sleeper sofa and half bath to accommodate main level guests. All the flooring on the main level is wood with exception of the King Master Suite.

Downstairs, the fully finished basement is all carpeted and houses the other 3 generously sized Queen bedrooms. The gameroom features a pool table, 26" flat screen TV, and access to the 6-person therapeutic hot tub. The gameroom also has a full bathroom servicing the downstairs bedroom and gameroom guests.

Newly upgraded driveway that can only hold 4 mid-size 2-wheel drive vehicles on the top driveway plus 3 mid size 4WD vehicles on the lower driveway for a total of 7 vehicles MAX. Parking is not allowed along the street. Any vehicles parked on street or in neighboring properties will be towed at vehicle-owners expense.

Pets allowed up to 15 lbs only. A pet fee is required for pets.

The Resort

The Coosawattee River Resort is an 8,500 + acre vacation home resort development consisting of more than 7,000 individual, privately owned lots divided by Twelve miles of the beautiful Coosawattee River.
