The cabin is totally secluded, nestled on a hillside wirh a fully paved driveway at the end of a cul du sac in the secluded gated community of Talking Rock Creek Resort which boarders on the south side of Carter's Lake. You will enjoy the solitude, peaceful serenity of Mountain Living at it's finest. From Mountain River Chalet you can listen to the river below, hear it rushing by your balcony as your cares melt away in the hot tub, if you are lucky you may see a deer curiously pause and stare at you from below the balconies...grab your rod and reel, catch your dinner and then BBQ your catch on the gas grill. The view of the river when the leaves are down is 180 degrees from the rear decks.

You will love the sunsets as they bounce off the walls and creates a beautiful glowing panorama through the all glass windows on west side of the cabin. It's a steep walk which is about 100 feet from the cabin. So, when you go to the river wear your hiking shoes! Then cool off with a river swim, fish (bring your fishing poles), tube to Carter's Lake (bring your own tubes and checkout on Google Earth where the river comes out on the lake), take a short walk to the pool or just hike the beautiful around the unspoiled natural wilderness. Whatever you want you'll find at Mountain River Chalet. The chalet features three bedrooms with an open semi-private 4th bedroom on the rec room lever, three full baths (each bath can be accessed privately and directly from the adjoining bedroom except the open 4th bedroom), two balconies and a huge covered porch complete with famiy picnic table and rocking chairs.

Enjoy quality time with friends and family in the full game room with pool table, ping pong and board games. You will enjoy the 42" flat screen satellite TV above the wood burning fireplace in the cozy living room. Sleep four extra people on the sleeper sofas and another two comfortably in the open 4th bedroom with twin beds on the rec room level. After a fun day of sightseeing, antiquing, shopping, hiking or just relaxing...take a romantic candlelight bath in the oversized Jacuzzi for two in the master suite. Mountain River Chalet is brand new and just completed in Spring 2008.
