Black Bear Chalet - A Touch of Heaven.
As you enter the home, the view literally captures your attention through the huge rear glass wall. Once settled in, you begin to appreciate the home’s charming interior: its two stone fireplaces, natural cedar walls, and homey touches. With three bedrooms and two baths, and a living area on two floors, each with a TV and its own deck, this home easily accommodates most families’ needs. A well stocked kitchen with a breakfast bar and fantastically powerful stereo with a 60+ CD collection of classical and relaxing music make every part of your stay special and memorable.

A brand new hot tub overlooks the woodland vista from the lower deck making the mountainside evenings a perfect time to soak, relax and enjoy the mountain life. It is not unusual to see deer, wild turkeys, an occasional bear, and an assortment of other wildlife around the cabin, as Bent Tree protects all animals as part of the Environmental Committee covenants. Bent Tree is a quiet but active community, offering a variety of activities within its gates. During the day, you might choose to walk one of the four walking trails (ranging from mild to difficult), swim or fish in the lake stocked yearly with rainbow trout, bass and crappie, play tennis indoors, outdoors, on clay or hard surfaces, golf at the 18 hole, par 72 course designed by Joe Lee, swim in one of two outdoor pools (one for family, one for adults), engage a horse from the Bent Tree Stables for a fall “leaf” ride to see areas not accessible by car or by foot, or eat at the 19th Hole restaurant.

Return home after a busy day and grill on the deck while the sun goes down, “listen” to the stillness as it “speaks” to you at night, and, on a clear night, let your eyes feast on the panoply of stars overhead while the village lights tell their story from below.
