Cherokee Overlook at Carters Lake is a brand new beautiful luxury log cabin with new hot tub overlooking Carters Lake in Talking Rock, GA. This cabin has a huge wall of windows with a spectacular "WOW" view of the Carters Lake reservoir. Cherokee Overlook sleeps up to 10 adults and features a wood burning fireplace, satellite tv, wireless internet, 4 person hot tub and an unbelievable lake/mountain view.




The large viewing decks have comfortable patio furniture and charcoal grill to relax and sit outside in the mountain air overlooking the Carters Lake reservoir.

The new granite countertops and kitchen appliances, elegant fabric decor, hand painted canvases and the open, airy feel gives the house an elegant and delightful atmosphere, perfect for enjoyable relaxation time.

The house has a ramp for wheel chair accessibility and is very secluded in a gated mini neighborhood with access to all the resort amenities available at Talking Rock Creek Resort next door. Just minutes from the marina at Carters Lake where you can rent pontoon boats or go fishing. Enjoy the lake serenity and peacefulness at Cherokee Overlook.

The driveway is a short, steep gravel driveway that may be rutted or difficult to climb in weather. 4x4 vehicles are recommended but not required. 2 to 3 vehicles can fit at the top of the driveway adjacent to the cabin. Ample overflow parking is available in the cul de sac at base of driveway if needed.

Pets allowed, no size restrictions. A pet fee is required for pets.

Carters Lake Area Adjacent to beautiful Carters Lake, just 20 minutes from Ellijay, Georgia. Carters Lake is the deepest man-made lake east of the Mississippi river and is just across the street from Talking Rock Creek Properties. The area provides all sorts of lake fun such as fishing, hiking, swimming, camping, boating, picnic areas, as well as excellent beginner to advance level mountain bike trails. Be sure to also visit the impressive Corps of Engineers Dam. Lake View Overlooks a lake or pond but not directly accessible from the property. Some hiking or driving may be required to access the lake or pond. Talking Rock Creek Resort is a new gated mountain resort community in a secluded and peaceful mountain retreat near the south shores of Carters Lake. Amenities include a Rec Center containing tennis and basketball courts, a playground, a workout room and large pond for picnicking plus hiking trails and a trout fishing stream. Guests have free access to all resort amenities. The resort's main entrance is about 18 miles from historic downtown Ellijay, GA.
