Chalet Solace is a lovely mountain vacation rental with beautiful year-round mountain views framed by a huge wall of windows. Chalet Solace is a 2BR with loft bedroom and 2.5 bath mountain home equiped with gourmet kitchen, washer, dryer, Cable TV, gas fireplace, and 4 person hotub. The 2 bedrooms and loft sleeps up to 6 guests in King, Queen and Double beds.



Just minutes from downtown Ellijay and Apple Orchard Alley, Chalet Solace is located in in Walnut Mountain Resort with a community pool and tennis court area as well as a beautiful creek and several fishing ponds. Chalet Solace is a convenient mountain getaway that offers a wide assortment of amenities for all types of adventurers.

Inside, the main level features a floor to ceiling gas log fireplace and spacious living room that has a 32" TV and DVD player. The stone gas fireplace adds a rustic touch of rustic cabin feel and the loft overlooks the dining room and the mountain view. The huge windows invite the sunshine and light up the house so it always feels bright and airy. Not to mention the incredible mounain view and fall colors that paint themselves into the abundant window space. There is always a beautiful view from the Chalet.The gourmet kitchen is fully loaded with plenty of cabinet space and counter top space. The Owner, as a matter of fact, is a gourmet chef! The dining nook overlooks the mountain ridge and seats 4. A small desk is also just outside the kitchen for a convenient work space.

The master King bedroom resides on the main floor and has a closet, dresser and 27" TV and is connected to the main level bathroom with dual vanities and walk-in glass door shower. The living room offers access to the screened porch with plenty of chairs and a table to lounge in, and beyond that is the large outdoor viewing deck which holds a 4-person hot tub, gas grill and table and chairs for the ultimate in outdoor relaxation.

Also on the main floor is a coat closet that holds a variety of extracurricular equipment as a complimentary convenience for guests such as golf clubs, tennis rackets and games.

Upstairs in the loft is the second bedroom with Queen size bed and half bath. The loft itself overlooks the picture windows and incredible view and has a double bed and closet. Also a ceiling fan and telescope.

The newly finished gameroom room sports a working pinball machine (quarters only) foosball table, darts, surround sound home theater system and custom dry bar. Now you can have the whole family lounging and having a great time in a cozy space.

The driveway is short and flat with a parking pad for about 3 vehicles and a split driveway leading down alongside the cabin that will fit 2 more vehicles (total of 5 max). Parking is not allowed along the street. The road up to the cabin from the gate is paved and slightly steep but levels off once you turn on to the road the cabin is on. The route is easily navigable by 2-wheel drive vehicle. This cabin has full-time resident neighbors, all noise ordinances are enforced.

Chalet Solace is located just a few miles from downtown Ellijay just off the famous Apple Orchard Alley along Highway 52 East towards Amicalola Falls. Tubing and Kayaking services are located just minutes from this cabin along Hwy 52. Also only 30 minutes to Dahlonega and 50 minutes to the North Georgia Premium Outlet Mall in Dawsonville, GA. Chalet Solace is conveniently located in an upscale gated resort community just 5 miles from downtown Ellijay, GA and the Annual Apple Festival. Guests have free access to the resort amenities such as an Olympic size pool, tennis, basketball, playgrounds, hiking trails fishing ponds and streams. Chalet Solace is 0.2 miles from the tennis and basketball courts and playground and 0.4 miles from the Olympic size pool (open seasonally).

This home is only 1.5 hrs hour away from Atlanta and minutes from downtown historic Ellijay and the many annual festivals. Just perfect for weekend getaways and holidays.
