Coosawattee River Resort
The Coosawattee River is formed where the Ellijay and Cartecay Rivers meet and then
travels for six or seven miles where it becomes Carter's Lake, a gorgeous recreational
lake formed by the Corps of
Engineers.
The resort has over 300 miles of paved and gravel roads that can take you from
urban congestion to primitive wilderness in minutes. Inside the resort boundaries you
will find breathtaking views,
noisy river lots,

You will also find wildlife of all descriptions - deer, wild turkeys, raccoons, bears,
eagles, hawks and more, along with our stocked fishing pond for year around
enjoyment.
Coosawattee River Resort offers vast, wonderful and varied amenities.
Throughout the resort you will find different amenities easily accessible from wherever
you start.
