Deer Run Lodge is an authentic wood chink log cabin that is fully loaded with over 2000 sq ft of living space, 3 full bedrooms and 1 sleeping nook in the gameroom that could be used as a 4th bedroom, 3 full baths, a finished basement with gameroom, fully equipped kitchen and lots of outdoor deck space. The house itself has a cute country flavor with exposed hand-hewn beams, chinked log walls and handsome country furnishings. It has a therapeutic hot tub overlooking the mountainous woodlands, a new pool table in the game room, sony playstation with many games, lots of boardgames to play on rainy days, satellite TV, CD and DVD players, a huge stone hearth gas log fireplace in the living room and another fireplace in the finished game room, a large charcoal grill and smoker on the covered rear deck and is just 0.5 miles from the huge Fish Trap park and the Teen Center in the Coosawattee River Resort. Deer Run Lodge has tons of space to house a large group of 8 and is perfect for getaways where you want to be close to lots of outdoor activities. The cabin is very secluded down a quiet gravel road in the Coosawattee River Resort in Ellijay, GA wich is located just across from the Parks and Rec play grounds, river and pool facilities. Fish Trap Park in the Resort is a river side park with camping sites, picnic benches, playground, fields and a bridge that crosses the river to the Pool at the Teen Center.
