A True Appalachian Retreat Amazing new home modeled after19th century Appalachian lifestyle. Perfect for large families or groups of friends. This home was designed and built for those who truly value the essence of 'getting away from it all' while having modern amenities and an abundance of recreational area to cherish. Structure and Ambience Words can't describe the ingenuity, creativity and level of detail that went into creating the
theme for this rustic mountain lodge escape. The ambience is clean and airy with a refurbished barn motif, yet amazingly cozy, comfortable and relaxing. Although wireless internet, cable TV, DVD player and modern appliances are incorporated, the essence of this home is punctuated by the interior finishes and architecture representative of old-fashion classic farm and apalachian motif. These include 100 year old timbers salvaged and restored from 19th century Atlanta district warehouses, a pleasing open floor plan complete with a ships-style ladder, and a look out tower and loft area with sleeping quarters perfect for children. The attention to details emphasize the feel of being transported back in time to old day mountain living all the way down to the antique style bath tubs and dishware.
