DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO: KZ Cabins Welcome Center, 6116 Hwy 515 N, Ellijay, GA 30536. PLEASE DO NOT USE GPS FOR THIS ADDRESS, IT WILL TAKE YOU TO BLUE RIDGE, NOT ELLIJAY!! **KZ CABINS WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR GUESTS THAT GET LOST BY FOLLOWING GPS INSTEAD OF THESE DIRECTIONS.**
Directions From Atlanta, GA: - From Downtown Atlanta, follow signs to I-75 north.
- Take I-75 north 21 miles to I-575. Stay to the right to merge onto I-575 north.
- Stay on I-575 north for about 50 miles to Ballground, GA (just north of Canton, GA). Note: I-575 changes names to Hwy 515 here.
- Continue on Hwy 515 through the town of Jasper for another 14.1 miles into Ellijay. Just as you enter the Ellijay city limits, the first commercial center on the right is "Talona Village".
- Turn right into "Talona Village". There is also a Gun Store and Dalton's Wholesale Carpet Store sign. NOTE: Talona Village plaza is 6 miles past the "Scenic Overlook" on HWY 515 and less than 0.5 miles past the GA Hwy 382 exit sign, just as you enter Ellijay city limits.
- KZ Cabins welcome center is the first Suite from the right (Suite H).
?NOTE: If you see the Penland's Apple House you have passed us! Or reach the traffic light at Highlands Crossing Shopping Center (Longhorns, Wal-Mart, Dunkin Donuts, CVS, Chic-Fil-a), you have gone 1.8 miles too far.!
Directions From Chattanooga, TN: - From downtown Chattanooga, follow signs to I-24 E. Get onto I-24 East.
- Take exit 185A to merge on to I-75 South toward Atlanta. Go 36.1 miles to Resaca, GA.
- Take exit 320 for GA-136 toward Resaca Lafayette.
- Turn left onto GA-136 E/Resaca Lafayette Rd NW, go 0.6 miles.
- Turn left onto GA-136 E/GA-3 N/U.S. 41 N. Go 0.1 miles.
- Take the 1st right onto GA-136 E/Nicklesville Rd. Continue to follow GA-136 East for 21 miles to GA Hwy 382.
- TURN LEFT onto GA Hwy 382.
- Follow Hwy 382 for 10 miles to the stop sign (Old Hwy 5).
- TURN LEFT onto Old Hwy 5. Continue 0.4 miles to Talona Rd.
- TURN RIGHT onto Talona Rd.
- Go 0.4 miles and bear right at the first right. Follow this unnamed road 0.2 miles to the stop sign (Hwy 515.)
- TURN RIGHT onto Hwy 515 South.
- Continue on US-HWY 515 South about 0.5 miles to Talona Village retail plaza on your left
- Turn Left into the Talona Mountain retail plaza
- KZ Cabin Rentals is the first suite on the right.
Directions From Alabama: - From downtown Birmingham, follow I-20 East all the way to Atlanta.
- As you approach Atlanta, GA, merge on to Interstate 285-North. Continue about 9 miles to I-75 North.
- Take Exit 20 to merge onto I-75 North toward Chattanooga. Continue about 10.3 miles to I-575 North.
- Stay to the right to merge onto I-575 north.
- Stay on I-575 north for about 50 miles to Ballground, GA (just north of Canton, GA). Note: I-575 changes names to Hwy 515 here.
