Ellijay Georgia Vacation Rental Cabin Management

Hi, thanks for visiting our KZ Cabins Vacation Homes website! My name is Andres and I own and operate KZ Cabins, Inc. based in Ellijay, GA.  This page is simply an informational bio about our company and background as well as an insight into our company culture and philosophy so you can understand not only WHO we are, but WHY we are! After all, I believe that business is about people, so why not get to know a little bit about us?

Background

I was born in South Carolina and grew up overseas in Italy for a stint where I was fortunate enough to travel around most of Europe (thanks mom and dad!) before coming back to Marietta, GA where I attended Middle and High School. After I graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree from the School of Architecture I worked for nearly 12 years in the Sales and Marketing division of one of the largest Engineering and Construction companies in the world. 

During my corporate career I got married, had 3 daughters and traveled again extensively but this time around the entire planet, often for months at a time. My career required us to move around the country 6 times plus an 8-month extended stay in London, commuting home to the U.S. only a couple of times a month. Needless to say, my family and I got very familiar with staying in 'Homes away from Home'. 

My professional corporate career  was centered around designing, building and using cutting-edge technologies and systems for presenting ideas and solutions to our customers. Along with building teams of professionals to create these systems, I spent a great deal of time listening to what my customers needed and then incorporating those needs into the solutions we built. Needless to say, we became quite the experts in transforming 'wants' into 'gots', which comes in very handy in our vacation business here at KZ Cabins!

After my last global project was complete, I decided to hang up my corporate shoes so I could spend more time with my growing family. So, we decided to move one last time, but this time to the beautiful north Georgia mountains, where we started a business offering 'Homes away from Homes' to vacationers in a beautiful setting. 

What makes us who we are

Well, along my global travels I captured all the details that made our stays away from home comfortable and memorable and we've combined that with a dozen years of experience in technologies and customer service to create a professional, responsive, tech savvy, detail-oriented, vacation home rental service in the north Georgia Mountains. This is the core of what makes our company unique and the essence that keeps our customers happy 'campers'.
